Easy Green Store is a company that provides eco-friendly, recyclable, energy saving and green products to the general public and people concerned about their impact on the environment. We operate in North East London and aim to provide products and tips to our customers to help promote a more energy efficient lifestyle.Aim
We are aware that our operations when running a business result in excessive waste products and emissions into the atmosphere. It will be the company’s aim to reduce these waste products and emissions and to operate in a manner respectful to the environment.Objectives
Encourage suppliers and associates to become aware of their environmental impact and to aid them in their own environmental objectives. To provide information with all products to help customers understand the environmental impact of the product and it’s use.Customer based activities
- Supply and source products that are environmentally beneficial in either their materials, or their use.
- Give priority to suppliers that are based locally to reduce travel miles of our products.
- Use recycled material (wherever possible) for packaging and filling.
- Provide paper-free invoice and dispatch notices to customers.
- Wherever paper-free options are not possible, documents will be printed on recycled paper.
Internal activities
- Use recycled paper and stationery for internal documents.
- Print on both sides of paper and recycle all used paper.
- Use a hosting service that carry out environmentally friendly practises.
- Use printers that are energy efficient and ensure ink is refilled as opposed to replaced.
- Use energy efficient products and practices around the work place, including energy efficient light bulbs, turning off PC monitors when not in use, and turning off all electrical equipment when out of use for at least one hour.
Target
To achieve our aims and objectives, we inform all of our customers, suppliers and associates about our environmental policy, and encourage them to provide us with alternate or additional aims and objectives for the following year.Mr L. Reid
