Product Description

The 20 Watt Mains Free Solar Panel Kit provides eco friendly lighting and a cost effective way to illuminate sheds, garages, outhouses and any other locations without access to mains power.

The solar panel kit is simple to install, and is exempt from Part P of the Building Regulations, which means anyone with basic DIY skills can install the kit without paying for an electrician or costly certificates.

A 75 to 85 Ah car battery is recommended for this kit. A charge controller (included) should be used with lower Ah batteries (minimum of 12Ah), or should be disconnected when not in use to prevent overcharging.

By adding an inverter to the 20 Watt Mains Free Solar Panel Kit, you can use the stored energy to power a variety of small electronic devices.

The solar panel in the kit will generate electricity that will be stored into a connected battery (not supplied), until required. By connecting the switch and light bulb, you can illuminate spaces of up to 48 square metres when you wish.
